Family built and operated. The roots of 3J’s plumbing go back to 1988. Joe’s mentorship began when his mother and father, Cyndy and Bruce, started “Paradise Plumbing”. Often Joe’s chores included organizing fittings in the shop and trucks. Ultimately, Bruce became a supervising county plumbing inspector for Kona. He has since happily retired.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Joe started plumbing seriously at age 20 and has not looked back in 25years. Our company name reflects the three “J’s” of our family, Joe and sons, Juaren and Joshua. They may not be plumbers yet but they are the inspiration, foundation, and drive that keeps us committed to this community. Not to mention free labor to keep the shop and trucks organized. Ultimately, they inspired Joe to reach beyond and found, 3J’s Plumbing Inc.

Joe and his wife Melissa both grew up in Hawaii and have a deep drive to earn our place in this community. Melissa is a avid garden educator on their Kealakekua farm AKA Kona Sown. For us it is about so much more than turning a dollar. We want to be the best company for our local home owners and to be the best employers for our plumbers. We all call this island home and want nothing less than the best for our island ohana.
